PENINGKATAN KONDUSIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PAI MELALUI INTEGRASI METODE ROLE PLAY DAN PICTURE AND PICTURE DI KELAS V SDN SIRNABAYA 01

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the role-play method in creating a conducive learning environment for fifth-grade students at SDN Sirnabaya 01. The study was motivated by low student participation and suboptimal classroom management resulting from teacher-centered learning practices. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles involving 28 students. The intervention was implemented through the role-play method, which was reinforced in the second cycle with the Picture and Picture model as a supporting strategy. Data were collected through observation, learning achievement tests, and documentation, and were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results showed that in Cycle I, student engagement increased; however, learning mastery reached only 75% because classroom conditions were not yet fully controlled. Following improvements in Cycle II through the integration of role play, Picture and Picture, and more structured classroom management, learning mastery increased to 96.43%, with an average score of 90. These findings indicate that the role-play method, supported by visual learning strategies and effective classroom management, can enhance student participation while creating a more conducive learning atmosphere in Islamic Religious Education at the elementary school level.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas metode role play dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang kondusif pada siswa kelas V SDN Sirnabaya 01. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya partisipasi siswa dan kurang optimalnya pengelolaan kelas akibat pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dua siklus dengan melibatkan 28 siswa. Tindakan dilakukan melalui penerapan metode role play, yang pada siklus kedua diperkuat dengan model Picture and Picture sebagai strategi pendukung. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada Siklus I keterlibatan siswa meningkat, tetapi ketuntasan belajar baru mencapai 75% karena suasana kelas belum sepenuhnya terkendali. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan tindakan pada Siklus II melalui integrasi role play, Picture and Picture, dan pengelolaan kelas yang lebih terstruktur, ketuntasan belajar meningkat menjadi 96,43% dengan rata-rata nilai 90. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan role play yang didukung strategi visual dan pengelolaan kelas yang efektif dapat meningkatkan partisipasi siswa sekaligus menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih kondusif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah dasar.
