The flood disaster in Langkat Regency significantly impacted the availability of clean water and the fulfillment of basic community needs due to contamination by pollutants and pathogenic microorganisms. This community service program aims to implement an emergency response program by providing clean water filters and community-based post-flood recovery logistics packages in Pematang Cengal Village and Paya Perupuk Village. The implementation method used a participatory approach that included needs assessment, assembly of filtration units using nanofiltration technology, coordinated distribution of logistical assistance, and education on facility maintenance. The results of the activity showed an improvement in water quality visually and functionally, from a cloudy brownish condition to clear and drinkable. A total of ten water filters have been installed at strategic points to serve 427 families, supported by the distribution of logistics in the form of food, medicines, and emergency equipment such as tents and mattresses. The mutual cooperation approach has proven effective in accelerating the distribution process and increasing community participation and ownership of village assets. In conclusion, the integration of technical filtration solutions and community-based social assistance can strengthen the socio-economic resilience of communities in facing emergencies. This model has great potential to be replicated in other disaster-prone areas as a systematic and sustainable post-disaster recovery strategy.
