Abstract

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is changing how teachers design lessons and evaluate learning, yet many Vocational High School (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan/SMK) teachers use these tools without adequate ethical guidance. This independent Community Service (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PKM) activity aimed to strengthen the understanding of SMK Pasundan Cijulang teachers, in Pangandaran Regency, of ethical GenAI use in the learning process and its evaluation, referring to the Joint Decree of Seven Ministers Number 400.1-492 of 2026 on Guidelines for the Use and Learning of Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence, and the AI Competency Framework for Teachers issued by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The activity was conducted as a face-to-face outreach session on 1 August 2026, comprising material presentation, prompt-writing demonstration, and discussion. Effectiveness was evaluated using the reaction and learning levels of the Kirkpatrick model through a four-point Likert questionnaire and a multiple-choice comprehension test at cognitive levels C4 to C6, completed by eight participating teachers. Questionnaire results showed mean scores of 3.50 for Participant Reaction, 3.53 for Learning Outcome and Perceived Benefit, and 3.56 for Intention to Apply, on a 1–4 scale, with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.949. The comprehension test yielded a mean score of 78.75 out of 100, and six of eight participants met the 70 minimum mastery criterion, but scores ranged widely from 20 to 100. The ethics dimension recorded the lowest proportion of correct answers (75.0 percent), below the prompt-writing dimension (78.1 percent) and the assessment dimension (87.5 percent). Satisfaction did not track mastery: the participant with the highest questionnaire score obtained the lowest test score. The remaining difficulty lay in applying ethical principles to concrete classroom cases rather than in recognising the rules, so follow-up support should target case-based practice and the participants who did not meet the criterion.

ABSTRAK

Kehadiran Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) mengubah cara guru merancang pembelajaran dan menyusun evaluasi. Pemanfaatan perlu mengacu kepada etika yang berlaku. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Mandiri ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman guru SMK Pasundan Cijulang, Kabupaten Pangandaran, tentang etika penggunaan GenAI dalam proses dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Materi mengacu pada Keputusan Bersama Tujuh Menteri Nomor 400.1-492 Tahun 2026 dan  United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk sosialisasi tatap muka pada 1 Agustus 2026, mencakup pemaparan materi, demonstrasi teknik penyusunan prompt, dan sesi tanya jawab. Efektivitas kegiatan dievaluasi menggunakan model Kirkpatrick level reaksi dan hasil belajar melalui angket skala Likert empat poin serta tes pemahaman pilihan ganda berjenjang kognitif C4–C6, yang diisi oleh delapan orang guru peserta. Hasil angket menunjukkan skor rata-rata 3,50 pada Dimensi Reaksi Peserta, 3,53 pada Dimensi Hasil Belajar dan Kebermanfaatan, dan 3,56 pada Dimensi Niat Penerapan dari skala 1–4, dengan koefisien Cronbach's Alpha 0,949. Tes pemahaman memperoleh rata-rata skor 78,75 dari 100 dan enam dari delapan peserta mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal 70, tetapi sebaran skornya sangat lebar, yaitu 20 hingga 100. Dimensi etika penggunaan AI justru memperoleh persentase jawaban benar terendah (75,0%) dibandingkan dimensi teknik penyusunan prompt (78,1%) dan pemanfaatan AI dalam evaluasi pembelajaran (87,5%). Pola ini menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan peserta tidak sejalan dengan penguasaan materi, karena peserta dengan skor angket tertinggi justru memperoleh skor tes terendah. Kesulitan yang tersisa terletak pada penerapan prinsip etika ke situasi kelas yang konkret, bukan pada pengenalan aturannya, sehingga pendampingan lanjutan perlu diarahkan pada latihan kasus dan pada peserta yang belum tuntas.
