ABSTRACT
Limited family financial literacy remains a challenge in supporting community well-being. PKK cadres have a strategic position as financial literacy agents at the community level, but their capacity to provide education and assistance in family financial management needs to be strengthened. This community service activity aimed to strengthen the capacity of PKK cadres through mobile application-based family financial management training. The activity involved 15 PKK cadres in Abadijaya Village, Depok City, through needs identification, material preparation, pre-test, training, demonstration and practice using the SIMAK Finance application, mentoring, post-test, and evaluation. The evaluation used an instrument consisting of 15 indicators covering financial literacy knowledge, family financial management skills, and cadres’ readiness as family financial literacy agents. The results showed an increase in knowledge from 87% to 95%, skills from 80% to 93%, and cadres’ readiness from 76% to 91%. These findings indicate that integrating training with mobile application practice can strengthen cadres’ capacity to understand and apply family financial management and support their readiness to perform educational roles in the community. Further program development should focus on long-term mentoring and evaluation to support sustained implementation.
