ABSTRACT
Vocational skills among students in Electrical Power Installation Engineering (TITL) are developed not only through mastery of theoretical content but also through practical experiences that resemble workplace demands. This context underlies the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) through the Production Unit Program at SMKN 2 Pandeglang. The study involved 56 eleventh-grade TITL students who were assigned non-randomly to an experimental group and a control group, with 28 students in each group. A quantitative quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design was employed. Vocational skills data were collected through tests and questionnaires, supported by observation and documentation. The data were analyzed using paired-sample t-test, independent-sample t-test, and N-Gain. The experimental group demonstrated an increase in the mean score from 56.64 to 84.89, while the control group increased from 56.64 to 69.25. The comparison between the two groups after the intervention yielded a t-value of -9.108 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. These findings indicate a significant difference in vocational skills following the learning intervention. Integrating PjBL with Production Unit activities can provide a more contextualized practical learning experience for TITL students.
