PENGARUH METODE DEMONSTRASI PRAKTIK SHOLAT JENAZAH TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN IBADAH SISWA KELAS XII MAN KOTA SURABAYA

This research aims to identify the effect of the funeral prayer demonstration method on the religious understanding of grade XII students at MAN Kota Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi- experimental research type using a pretest- posttest control group design. The research population was all grade XII students, while the research sample consisted of 98 students divided into two groups: an experimental class and a control class of 49 students each. Informasi collection methods were carried out through tests, observations, and documentation. The research instrument was in the form of test questions to measure students religious understanding before and after the treatment. Informasi analysis was carried out through prerequisite tests including normality and homogeneity tests, followed by hypothesis testing using the t- test (independent sample t- test). The results showed a significant difference between the religious understanding of students World Health Organization learned using the demonstration method and those World Health Organization learned using the conventional method. Thus, the funeral prayer demonstration method was proven to have a positive effect on improving students religious understanding. The findings of this research indicate that the use of an instant and participatory educational method can improve students understanding of religious modules more effectively.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh metode demonstrasi doa pemakaman terhadap pemahaman agama siswa kelas XII di MAN Kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian kuasi-eksperimental menggunakan desain kelompok kontrol pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII, sedangkan sampel penelitian terdiri dari 98 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol masing-masing 49 siswa. Metode pengumpulan informasi dilakukan melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes untuk mengukur pemahaman agama siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis informasi dilakukan melalui uji prasyarat termasuk uji normalitas dan homogenitas, diikuti dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t (uji t sampel independen). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara pemahaman agama siswa yang belajar menggunakan metode demonstrasi dan siswa yang belajar menggunakan metode konvensional. Dengan demikian, metode demonstrasi doa pemakaman terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman agama siswa. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode pendidikan instan dan partisipatif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap modul agama secara lebih efektif.
