Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine disorder in reproductive-aged women associated with ovulatory dysfunction and metabolic disturbances, highlighting the importance of examining anthropometric, reproductive, and metabolic factors concurrently. This study aimed to analyze the associations of Body Mass Index (BMI), parity, and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) with PCOS incidence at Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital (RSPUR), Banda Aceh, in 2024–2025. An analytical quantitative approach with a retrospective case-control design was employed. The sample comprised 88 reproductive-aged women, including 44 PCOS cases and 44 non-PCOS controls, selected using total sampling. Secondary data were obtained from medical records and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses, with the Chi-square test applied at a significance level of p<0.05. The results revealed significant associations between BMI and PCOS incidence (p=0.011), parity and PCOS incidence (p=0.001), and T2DM and PCOS incidence (p=0.009). T2DM had an odds ratio (OR) of 3.286 (95% CI: 1.332–8.107). In conclusion, BMI, parity, and T2DM were significantly associated with PCOS incidence. These findings may inform the clinical assessment of reproductive-aged women, although the retrospective design limits causal interpretation.
DMT2 memiliki nilai odds ratio (OR) sebesar 3,286 (95% CI: 1,332–8,107).
