Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between stress management and job satisfaction on work-family conflict in palm oil company employees. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design, involving 213 respondents selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire that measures stress management, job satisfaction, and work-family conflict. The results of data analysis show a significant negative relationship between stress management and work-family conflict, as well as a significant negative relationship between job satisfaction and work-family conflict. Good stress management and high job satisfaction have been shown to contribute to reducing work-family conflict. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 80.7% indicates that both independent variables contribute significantly to the dependent variable, while the rest is influenced by other factors. These findings provide practical implications for companies in designing policies to improve stress management and job satisfaction in order to create a balance between work and family life.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara manajemen stres dan kepuasan kerja terhadap konflik pekerjaan-keluarga (work-family conflict) pada karyawan perusahaan kelapa sawit. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, melibatkan 213 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang mengukur manajemen stres, kepuasan kerja, dan konflik pekerjaan-keluarga. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara manajemen stres dengan work-family conflict, serta hubungan negatif signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan work-family conflict. Manajemen stres yang baik dan kepuasan kerja yang tinggi terbukti berkontribusi dalam mengurangi konflik pekerjaan-keluarga. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 80,7% menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel independen berkontribusi signifikan terhadap variabel dependen, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi perusahaan dalam merancang kebijakan untuk meningkatkan manajemen stres dan kepuasan kerja guna menciptakan keseimbangan antara kehidupan kerja dan keluarga.
