PENGARUH SELF-EFFICACY, MOTIVASI KERJA, DAN PRAKTIK KERJA LAPANGAN TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA SMKS PGRI 2 SIDOARJO

The This study was motivated by the persistently high unemployment rate among vocational high school graduates and the suboptimal work readiness of students in meeting industry demands. The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of self-efficacy, work motivation, and field work practice (PKL) on the work readiness of students majoring in Office Management at SMKS PGRI 2 Sidoarjo. This study uses Brady’s Work Readiness theory, Bandura’s Social Cognitive Theory, Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, and Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory as its theoretical framework. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 108 students in grades XI and XII who had participated in PKL. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the aid of SPSS through classical assumption tests, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results of the study indicate that self-efficacy, work motivation, and field work practices have a positive and significant effect on students’ work readiness, both partially and simultaneously, with a coefficient of determination of 64.9%. Thus, students’ work readiness can be enhanced by strengthening self-efficacy, work motivation, and the quality of the PKL program, which should be aligned with students’ vocational competencies.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih tingginya angka pengangguran dikalangan lulusan SMK serta belum optimalnya kesiapan kerja siswa dalam memenuhi tuntutan industri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh self-efficacy, motivasi kerja, dan praktik kerja lapangan (PKL) terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa jurusan Manajemen Perkantoran SMKS PGRI 2 Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Work Readiness dari Brady, Social Cognitive Theory dari Bandura, Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, serta Experiential Learning Theory dari Kolb sebagai landasan teoritis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian asosiatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 108 siswa kelas XI dan XII yang telah mengikuti PKL. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS melalui uji asumsi klasik, uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-efficacy, motivasi kerja, dan praktik kerja lapangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 64,9%. Dengan demikian, peningkatan kesiapan kerja siswa dapat dilakukan melalui penguatan keyakinan diri, motivasi kerja, dan kualitas pelaksanaan PKL yang relevan dengan kompetensi keahlian siswa.
