Abstract

Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by insufficient nutritional intake over a long period due to the provision of food that does not meet nutritional needs. Indicators of stunting in toddlers can be seen through the Z-Score assessment, the measurement results are at the threshold (Z-Score) <-2 SD. One of the activities carried out to overcome the incidence of stunting is through the Provision of Supplementary Food (PMT). PMT is provided daily with a portion of 1 complete meal a week and 1 snack a week. The purpose of this study was to determine changes in the Z-score value after the provision of recovery PMT in stunted toddlers at the UPTD Kemuningsari Kidul Community Health Center. The research method used a comparative research design with a population of all stunted toddlers who received recovery PMT totaling 36 toddlers. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with Paired Sample T-Test analysis. The results of this study showed a p-value of 0.015 < ? 0.05, so it can be said that there was a change in the Z-score value before and after the provision of 60-day recovery PMT for stunted toddlers at the UPTD Kemuningsari Kidul Health Center. In conclusion, the recovery PMT program has great potential in reducing stunting rates in the region, with most toddlers showing positive improvements.

ABSTRAK
Stunting merupakan masalah kurang gizi kronis yang disebabkan karena asupan gizi yang kurang dalam waktu cukup lama akibat pemberian makanan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi. Indikator balita dikatakan stunting dapat dilihat melalui penilaian Z-Score, hasil pengukuran tersebut berada pada ambang batas (Z-Score) <-2 SD. Kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kejadian stunting salah satunya adalah melalui Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT). Pemberian PMT dilakukan setiap hari dengan porsi 1 kali makanan lengkap dalam seminggu dan kudapan 1 kali dalam seminggu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adanya perubahan nilai Z-score paska pemberian PMT pemulihan pada balita stunting di UPTD Puskesmas Kemuningsari Kidul. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian komparatif dengan populasi semua balita stunting yang mendapatkan PMT pemulihan berjumlah 36 balita. Tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dengan uji analisis Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan p value 0,015 < ? 0,05, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat perubahan nilai Z-score sebelum dan paska pemberian PMT pemulihan 60 hari makan pada balita stunting di UPTD Puskesmas Kemuningsari Kidul. Kesimpulan program PMT pemulihan memiliki potensi besar dalam mengurangi angka stunting di wilayah tersebut, dengan sebagian besar balita menunjukkan perbaikan yang positif.
