PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DI KELAS 5 MIN KOTA BIMA

This research aims to improve the civics learning outcomes of fifth grade students through the application of the discovery learning learning model. This research is classroom action research carried out in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation or evaluation and reflection stages carried out in each cycle. Data collection in this research was carried out using observation, interviews and learning outcomes tests. Data obtained through observation and interview methods were analyzed using descriptive-qualitative techniques, while data obtained through learning outcomes tests were analyzed using descriptive-quantitative techniques. The results of this research show an average increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II of 9.2%. The increase in classical completeness from cycle I to cycle II was 33.4%. The obstacle faced in implementing the discovery learning model is that students are not yet familiar with the application of the discovery learning model so it is very difficult for teachers to explore student responses. The solution is to provide the problem at the beginning of the meeting so that students read and find solutions to the problem themselves in the books or learning resources they have.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas v MiN Kota Bima melalui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dengan dua siklus yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi atau evaluasi dan refleksi yang dilakukan di setiap siklus. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan tes hasil belajar. Data yang diperoleh melalui metode observasi dan wawancara dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif-kualitatif sedangkan data yang diperoleh melalui tes hasil belajar dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptifkuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 9,2%. Peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 33,4%. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapan model discovery learning yaitu siswa belum terbiasa dengan penerapan model discovery learning sehingga sangat sulit bagi guru untuk mengeksplorasi respon-respon siswa. Solusi yang dilakukan adalah memberikan permasalahan di awal pertemuan supaya siswa membaca dan menemukan sendiri pemecahan masalah dalam buku atau sumber belajar yang dia miliki.
