Abstract

ABSTRACT

The increasingly complex administrative demands of the Raudhatul Athfal (RA) institution cause school operators to often complete work outside of working hours, potentially disrupting the work-life balance. This condition shows the importance of organizational support as well as the individual's ability to manage emotions to help deal with various job demands. This study aims to determine the influence of organizational support on work-life balance with emotional intelligence as a moderator variable in RA operators in Pasuruan Regency. The research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample amounted to 154 RA operators which were determined using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using a work-life balance scale, organizational support, and emotional intelligence that has met the validity and reliability tests. Data analysis was carried out using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of the study show that organizational support has a positive and significant effect on work-life balance, as well as emotional intelligence also has a significant effect. However, the interaction between organizational support and emotional intelligence did not have a significant effect, so emotional intelligence did not play a role as a moderator variable. This study concludes that the work-life balance of RA operators in Pasuruan Regency is influenced by organizational support and emotional intelligence who work independently.

Tuntutan administrasi yang semakin kompleks pada lembaga Raudhatul Athfal (RA) menyebabkan operator sekolah sering menyelesaikan pekerjaan di luar jam kerja sehingga berpotensi mengganggu keseimbangan antara kehidupan kerja dan kehidupan pribadi (work-life balance). Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan pentingnya dukungan organisasi serta kemampuan individu dalam mengelola emosi untuk membantu menghadapi berbagai tuntutan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan organisasi terhadap work-life balance dengan kecerdasan emosional sebagai variabel moderator pada operator RA di Kabupaten Pasuruan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 154 operator RA yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala work-life balance, dukungan organisasi, dan kecerdasan emosional yang telah memenuhi uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work-life balance, demikian pula kecerdasan emosional juga berpengaruh signifikan. Namun, interaksi antara dukungan organisasi dan kecerdasan emosional tidak berpengaruh signifikan, sehingga kecerdasan emosional tidak berperan sebagai variabel moderator. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa work-life balance operator RA Kabupaten Pasuruan dipengaruhi oleh dukungan organisasi dan kecerdasan emosional yang bekerja secara independen.
