PENGARUH LEADER MEMBER EXCHANGE (LMX) DAN KEPUASAN KERJA TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN NON-TURNOVER GURU SWASTA KECAMATAN JONGGAT

ABSTRACT
The high turnover rate of private high school teachers in Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency, has serious implications for school sustainability and educational quality. This study focuses on the influence of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) and job satisfaction on private high school teacher turnover in the 2024/2025 period. This study aims to investigate the influence of (1) Leader-Member Exchange and (2) job satisfaction on (3) Non-Turnover (retention) of private school teachers in Jonggat sub-district, Central Lombok Regency, for the 2024/2025 period. In data analysis, this study employs an associative research strategy using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 16.00 software and a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The study sampled 63 teachers from private schools and madrasahs at the senior high school (SMA) and madrasah aliyah (MA) levels in Jonggat sub-district. The research was conducted from July 2024 to April 2025. The results partially indicate that Leader-Member Exchange has a significant effect on the Non-Turnover (retention) decisions of teachers in private schools/madrasahs in Jonggat sub-district, and job satisfaction significantly affects teachers’ Non-Turnover decisions. Simultaneously, Leader-Member Exchange and Job Satisfaction jointly have a significant effect on teachers’ Non-Turnover decisions.
ABSTRAK
Tingginya tingkat turnover guru swasta di Kecamatan Jonggat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah menimbulkan dampak serius terhadap keberlangsungan sekolah dan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengaruh Leader Member Exchange (LMX) dan kepuasan kerja terhadap turnover guru SMA/MA swasta periode 2024/2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh (1) Leader Member Exchange, (2) kepuasan kerja, terhadap (3) Non-Turnover (menetap) guru swasta di sekolah se-kecamatan Jonggat kabupaten Lombok Tengah periode 2024/2025. Dalam analisis data, penelitian ini merupakan strategi penelitian asosiatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 16.00 dengan pendekatan teknik Proportional stratified random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel dari 63 guru di sekolah maupun madrasah swasta pada jenjang SMA dan MA se-kecamatan Jonggat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari Juli 2024-April 2025. Hasil penelitian secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa Leader Member Exchange berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Non-turnover (menetap) guru di sekolah/madrasah swasta se-kecamatan Jonggat; kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Non-turnover (mentap) guru di sekolah/madrasah swasta se-kecamatan Jonggat. Secara simultan, Leader Member Exchange dan Kepuasan Kerja, berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan Non-turnover guru.
