KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH, FUNGSI MANAJERIAL, DAN PENGELOLAAN SARANA PRASARANA TERHADAP IKLIM SEKOLAH DASAR

ABSTRACT
School climate reflects the quality of the social and organizational environment in educational institutions and is associated with leadership, managerial functions, and the management of educational facilities. The relationships among these three aspects require integrated examination to understand the factors contributing to school climate. This study aims to analyze the relationship of principal leadership with managerial functions and educational facility management, the relationship between managerial functions and educational facility management, and the contributions of these three variables to school climate in Janapria District. A quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design was employed. Data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 150 respondents from 15 schools, comprising 5 Islamic elementary schools (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) and 10 public elementary schools. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results indicate that principal leadership is positively and significantly associated with managerial functions (β = 0.828; p < 0.001) and educational facility management (β = 0.801; p < 0.001). Managerial functions are also positively and significantly associated with educational facility management (β = 0.920; p < 0.001). Simultaneously, the three variables explain 78.4% of the variation in school climate. However, educational facility management does not make a statistically significant partial contribution to school climate (β = 0.144; p = 0.095). These findings highlight the statistical contributions of principal leadership and managerial functions in explaining school climate.
ABSTRAK
Iklim sekolah mencerminkan kualitas lingkungan sosial dan organisasi pendidikan, yang berkaitan dengan kepemimpinan, pelaksanaan fungsi manajerial, serta pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana. Namun, keterkaitan ketiga aspek tersebut dengan iklim sekolah masih perlu dikaji secara terpadu dalam konteks sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan fungsi manajerial dan pengelolaan sarana prasarana, hubungan fungsi manajerial dengan pengelolaan sarana prasarana, serta kontribusi ketiga variabel terhadap iklim sekolah di Kecamatan Janapria. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain explanatory survey. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner skala Likert lima tingkat dari 150 responden pada 15 sekolah, yang terdiri atas 5 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dan 10 Sekolah Dasar Negeri. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berhubungan positif dan signifikan dengan fungsi manajerial (β = 0,828; p < 0,001; R² = 0,799) serta pengelolaan sarana prasarana (β = 0,801; p < 0,001; R² = 0,714). Fungsi manajerial juga berhubungan positif dan signifikan dengan pengelolaan sarana prasarana (β = 0,920; p < 0,001; R² = 0,808). Secara simultan, ketiga prediktor menjelaskan 78,4% variasi iklim sekolah (p < 0,001). Namun, pengelolaan sarana prasarana tidak menunjukkan kontribusi parsial yang signifikan terhadap iklim sekolah (β = 0,144; p = 0,095). Temuan ini menegaskan kontribusi statistik kepemimpinan dan fungsi manajerial dalam menjelaskan iklim sekolah, sekaligus menunjukkan perlunya kajian lanjutan mengenai peran pengelolaan fasilitas dalam model yang melibatkan berbagai aspek pengelolaan sekolah.
