The boreout phenomenon in the modern workplace is a crucial psychological issue characterized by chronic boredom and a crisis of meaning due to a lack of challenge. However, valid measurement instruments in the Indonesian cultural context are still very limited. This study aims to adapt the Boreout Scale to the Indonesian cultural context while maintaining its psychometric properties. The adaptation process was carried out systematically through multiple translation, synthesis, expert validation, readability testing, and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) involving 105 respondents. The study findings indicate that two main dimensions, crisis of meaning and job boredom, meet adequate validity and reliability criteria with a total Cronbach's alpha value of 0.838. However, the crisis of growth dimension was eliminated due to the instability of its factor structure, possibly influenced by differences in collectivist cultural values ??in Indonesia. The study's conclusions confirm that this adapted instrument, consisting of seven valid items, is suitable for measuring boreout in the local context and also provides an important contribution to the development of more culturally sensitive work psychology assessments in Indonesia.
