KONTRIBUSI LATIHAN SQUAT JUMP TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN TENDANGAN DEPAN PADA CABANG OLAHRAGA PENCAK SILAT

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the relationship between the intensity of squat jump training and the ability to perform front kicks in the Persaudaraan Pencak Silat martial arts club in Sidoarjo. The method used in this study is quantitative. The quantitative research process focuses on processing data so that it is systematically organized and measurable. The quantitative approach is an empirical research approach, which is research that uses real or concrete data. In this approach, data is measured in numerical form and used as the basis for statistical analysis in accordance with the research problem. This study used an experimental method, which is a process in which external factors that can affect the results are minimized or controlled so that the cause-and-effect relationship between two deliberately manipulated variables can be determined. In its implementation, this study used the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 2.5 application with a one-group pre-test post-test experimental design. The results showed that the front kick ability of PSHT Rayon Dungus Sidoarjo pencak silat athletes was significantly influenced by squat jump training, with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that squat jump training can improve coordination, stability, and posture.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterkaitan antara intensitas latihan squat jump dengan kemampuan melakukan tendangan depan pada cabang Persaudaraan Pencak Silat di Sidoarjo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Proses penelitian kuantitatif berfokus pada pengolahan data agar tersusun secara sistematis dan terukur. Pendekatan kuantitatif merupakan pendekatan penelitian yang bersifat empiris, yaitu penelitian yang menggunakan data nyata atau konkret. Dalam pendekatan ini, data diukur dalam bentuk angka dan dijadikan dasar untuk melakukan analisis statistik yang sesuai dengan permasalahan penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, yaitu suatu proses di mana faktor-faktor luar yang dapat memengaruhi hasil diminimalkan atau dikendalikan, sehingga dapat diketahui hubungan sebab-akibat antara dua variabel yang sengaja dimanipulasi. Dalam pelaksanaannya, penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) versi 2.5 dengan desain eksperimen one group pre-test post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan tendangan depan pada atlet pencak silat PSHT Rayon Dungus Sidoarjo dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh latihan squat jump, dengan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 yang lebih kecil dari 0.05. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan squat jump mampu meningkatkan koordinasi, stabilitas, serta postur tubuh.
