KONTRIBUSI TEACHING FACTORY DAN PEMBELAJARAN PKWU TERHADAP KESIAPAN BEKERJA SISWA SMK NEGERI 2 JOMBANG

This study aims to analyze the Contribution of Teaching Factory (TEFA) and Craft and Entreprenurship Learning (PKWU) to students' work readiness in Vocational High Schools (SMK). TEFA is a production-based learning approach that integrates theory with direct industrial practice,, aiming to equip students with technical skills according to world of work standards. PKWU, on the other hand, aims to develop students' creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit so that they are able to face the challenges of the world of work or créate business opportunities. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis teshniques to measure the contribution of each variable. Data were obtained from 103 grade XII students in several vocational schools that implement the TEFA and PKWU programs through structured questionnaires. The results of the study showed that TEFA has a significant contribution to improving students' technical skills, such as the ability to use tools according to industry standards and completing work according to targets. Meanwhile, PKWU has a major influence on strengthening soft skills, including creativity, time management, and the courage to take risks. Simultaneously, TEFA and PKWU contribute 75% to students' work readiness, covering aspects of hard skills and soft skills. This finding confirms the importance of implementing TEFA and PKWU in an integrated manner to produce competitive graduates in the job market.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Kontribusi Teaching Factory (TEFA) dan Pembelajaran Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan (PKWU) terhadap kesiapan bekerja siswa di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). TEFA adalah pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis produksi yang mengintregasikan teori dengan praktik industri secara langsung, bertujuan untuk membekali siswa dengan keterampilan teknis sesuai standar dunia kerja. PKWU, di sisi lain, bertujuan mengemlbangkan kreativitas, inovasi, dan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa agar mampu menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja atau menciptakan peluang usaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda untuk mengukur kontribusi masing-masing variable. Data diperoleh dari 103 siswa kelas XII di beberapa SMK yang menerapkan program TEFA dan PKWU melalui kuesioner terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TEFA memiliki kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan teknis siswa, seperti kemampuan menggunakan alat sesuai standar industri dan penyelesaian pekerjaan sesuai target. Sementara itu, PKWU memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap penguatan soft skills, termasuk kreativitas, manajemen waktu, dan keberanian mengambil risiko. Secara simultan, TEFA dan PKWU berkontribusi sebesar 75% terhadap kesiapan bekerja siswa, mencakup aspek hard skills dan soft skills. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya implementasi TEFA dan PKWU secara terintelgrasi untuk meghasilkan lulusan yang kompetitif di pasar kerja.
