PENERAPAN TEKNIK WORD MATCHING GAME UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN VOCABULARY PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI NARRATIVE TEXT KELAS IXD SMP NEGERI 3 PRAYA

Classroom Action Research aims to increase students' vocabulary knowledge through the application of the Word Matching Game Technique. Action Implementation This research was carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle was held 2 meetings with an allotted time of 80 minutes for each meeting. The results of data analysis in this study showed that there was an increase in both the observations, questionnaires and test results. The test results showed the percentage of completeness from the pre-cycle, namely 52% to 76% in cycle I, then there was an increase in Return in cycle II to 88%. This proves that the Word Matching Game Technique can increase vocabulary knowledge in students, especially in procedure text material for class IXD SMP Negeri 3 Praya Academic Year 2022/2023
ABSTRAK
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan vocabularry peserta didik melalui penerapan Teknik Word Matching Game. Pelaksanaan Tindakan Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan 2 kali pertemuan dengan alokasi waktu 80menit tiap pertemuan. Hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan baik pada hasil pengamatan, kuisioner maupun hasil tes. Adapun hasil tes menunjukkan persentase ketuntasan dari Pra siklus yakni 52 % menjadi 76% pada siklus I, selanjutnya terjadi peningkatan Kembali pada siklus II menjadi 88%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa Teknik Word Matching Game dapat meningkatkan pengethauan vocabulary pada peserta didik khususnya pada materi procedure text kelas IXD SMP Negeri 3 Praya Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023
