Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) is one of the effective approaches to develop students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to explore the implementation of PBL in MA Nurul Ali Secang Magelang and its impact on students' cognitive skills. In addition, this article will also present relevant data and statistics to support the argument regarding the effectiveness of the PBL model in improving student learning outcomes. The results of the study showed that there was a clear increase in students' analytical and synthesis skills after implementing PBL. Data and statistics showed a significant increase in students' average scores and learning outcomes after implementing PBL. Training for teachers and support from school management are essential to ensure the success of implementing this learning model.

ABSTRAK
Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang efektif untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi PBL di MA Nurul Ali Secang Magelang dan dampaknya terhadap keterampilan kognitif siswa. Selain itu, artikel ini juga akan menyajikan data dan statistik yang relevan untuk mendukung argumen mengenai efektivitas model PBL dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan yang jelas dalam kemampuan analisis dan sintesis siswa setelah menerapkan PBL. Data dan statistik menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam nilai rata-rata siswa dan hasil belajar setelah penerapan PBL. Pelatihan untuk guru dan dukungan dari manajemen sekolah sangat penting untuk memastikan keberhasilan penerapan model pembelajaran ini.
