STUDI META-ANALISIS PENGARUH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MATEMATIS SISWA

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the influence of problem-based learning on students' mathematical skills. The research method used was meta-analysis of 23 articles resulting from scientific research that met the inclusion criteria. The instrument used is in the form of coding. Data analysis was carried out with the help of Microsoft Excel. This meta-analysis research shows that the overall effect of implementing problem-based learning on students' mathematical skills obtained an effect size value of 1.163 in the large effect category. The results of other research show that the effect size of applying problem-based learning based on the type of mathematical skills has more influence on mathematical literacy skills with an effect size value of 1.465 in the large effect category.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pengaruh problem-based learning terhadap keterampilan matematis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah meta-analisis terhadap 23 artikel hasil penelitian ilmiah yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah dalam bentuk pengkodean (coding). Analisis data dilakukan dengan bantuan Microsoft Excel. Penelitian meta-analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan pengaruh penerapan problem-based learning terhadap keterampilan matematis siswa memperoleh nilai effect size 1,163 dengan kategori efek besar. Hasil penelitian lain, effect size penerapan problem-based learning berdasarkan jenis keterampilan matematis lebih berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan literasi matematis dengan nilai effect size 1,465 dengan kategori efek besar.
