Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of implementing digital control tools—specifically Google Sites and the Scan It to Office application—on fostering religious awareness among 12th-grade students at SMA Negeri 87 Jakarta. The primary focus is on improving student discipline in attending congregational Dhuhr prayers. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with students, teachers, and the principal, as well as documentation of daily prayer attendance before and after the technology-based intervention. The findings indicate that the use of digital control tools has positively contributed to students' religious awareness. This is reflected in the increase in average daily attendance at congregational prayers—from only 5–14 students before the system was implemented to 25–35 students afterward. Student responses show that the presence of digital media motivated them and helped maintain consistency in worship. Meanwhile, teachers and the principal noted that technology facilitated the monitoring process and provided continuous educational benefits. These findings support the theories of Social Constructivism (Vygotsky), Humanism (Maslow), and the Theory of Planned Behavior (Ajzen), which suggest that spiritual awareness and behavior can be shaped through digital tools and a supportive social environment. The study also aligns with previous research on the effectiveness of digital media in religious education, offering a unique contribution through the integration of a QR code system as a tool for promoting discipline in worship.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak penerapan alat kontrol digital, yaitu Google Sites dan aplikasi Scan It to Office, terhadap pembentukan kesadaran beragama siswa kelas XII B di SMA Negeri 87 Jakarta. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah peningkatan kedisiplinan siswa dalam mengikuti salat Dzuhur berjamaah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung di lapangan, wawancara mendalam dengan siswa, guru, dan kepala sekolah, serta dokumentasi data kehadiran salat harian sebelum dan sesudah intervensi berbasis teknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan alat kontrol digital berkontribusi positif terhadap pembentukan kesadaran beragama siswa. Hal ini tercermin dari peningkatan rata-rata kehadiran dalam salat berjamaah dari hanya 5–14 siswa per hari sebelum sistem diterapkan, menjadi 25–34 siswa setelah implementasi sistem. Respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran media digital memotivasi dan membantu mereka dalam menjaga keteraturan ibadah. Sementara itu, guru dan kepala sekolah menilai bahwa penggunaan teknologi mempermudah proses monitoring dan memberikan efek edukatif secara berkelanjutan. Temuan ini mendukung teori Konstruktivisme Sosial (Vygotsky), Humanistik (Maslow), dan Theory of Planned Behavior (Ajzen) yang menjelaskan bahwa kesadaran dan perilaku spiritual dapat dibentuk melalui alat bantu digital dan lingkungan sosial yang mendukung. Hasil penelitian ini juga selaras dengan beberapa studi sebelumnya yang menunjukkan efektivitas media digital dalam pendidikan agama, namun memberikan keunikan pada integrasi sistem QR code sebagai alat kontrol kedisiplinan ibadah moral
