PENGARUH SELF-EFFICACY TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA PROGRAM KEAHLIAN TEKNIK INSTALASI TENAGA LISTRIK SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN

Work readiness is a crucial aspect for Vocational High School (SMK) students in facing the transition to the world of work. This study aims to analyze and describe the magnitude of the influence of self-efficacy on the work readiness of class XI TITL students of SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo. This study uses a quantitative approach with the ex-post facto method. Self-efficacy acts as an independent variable and work readiness as a dependent variable. The research sample consisted of 62 students taken from the population of class XI TITL students of SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo. The data collection technique used a questionnaire to measure self-efficacy and work readiness. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics and simple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 26 software. The results showed that self-efficacy has a significant influence on students' work readiness. This is evidenced by the regression coefficient of 0.612 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that increasing self-efficacy contributes positively and significantly to increasing the work readiness of class XI TITL students at SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo.
ABSTRAK
Kesiapan kerja merupakan aspek krusial bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dalam menghadapi transisi ke dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan besaran pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XI TITL SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex-post facto. Self-efficacy berperan sebagai variabel independen dan kesiapan kerja sebagai variabel dependen. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 62 siswa yang diambil dari populasi siswa kelas XI TITL SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket kuesioner untuk mengukur self-efficacy dan kesiapan kerja. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif serta analisis regresi sederhana dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-efficacy memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,612 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan self-efficacy berkontribusi secara positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XI TITL SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo.
