The low level of student visits to the library is a significant problem that requires serious attention in the academic environment of Campus I Poltekkes Kemenkes Malang, considering the vital role of the library in supporting the learning and research process. Therefore, this study aims to identify and analyze in depth various factors that contribute to the low interest of students visiting the library facilities. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach to obtain a clear picture. Primary data were collected by distributing structured questionnaires to 110 students who were selected representatively from various study programs on the campus. The results of the study revealed several dominant factors that influenced the low visits, including the lack of student awareness of the importance of the role of the library (65%), limited book collections that are less relevant to the needs of the current curriculum (58%), and physical facilities that are considered inadequate (45%). In addition, the library's less flexible operating schedule (32%) and the increasing preference for digital resources along with technological developments were also identified as significant contributors. Based on these findings, this study recommends that library managers make strategic efforts such as increasing service promotion effectively, updating library material collections to be more in line with developments in science and curriculum, and improving facilities to be more comfortable and increasing accessibility. These steps are expected to revitalize the role of libraries as centers of interesting and essential learning resources for students.
