NILAI TANGGUNG JAWAB DALAM CERAMAH GUS BAHA DI YOUTUBE:ANALISIS ISI BERBASIS PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER ISLAM
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The increasing prevalence of individualism, moral degradation, and the weakening of religious authority in the digital era have made the strengthening of Islamic character education increasingly essential. Digital religious sermons have emerged as a strategic medium for fostering character values within society. This study aims to examine the construction of the value of responsibility (mas’uliyyah) in Gus Baha's YouTube sermons and its relevance to Islamic character education. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis, the study analyzed two YouTube videos: Tanggung Jawab Kenikmatan Dunia on the Bahira Daily channel (accessed June 5, 2025) and Gus Baha Terbaru: Latihlah Jiwamu untuk Menanamkan Rasa Tanggung Jawab on the Pmb Official channel (accessed June 7, 2025). The analysis involved the processes of identifying, coding, categorizing, and interpreting the sermon content. The findings reveal that Gus Baha reconstructs the value of responsibility into three principal dimensions: spiritual responsibility toward Allah, intellectual responsibility in preserving the continuity of Islamic scholarship, and domestic responsibility in family education. These findings enrich the discourse on Islamic character education through digital da'wah and provide practical insights for educators and Islamic preachers in promoting the value of responsibility within contemporary society.
ABSTRAK
Meningkatnya individualisme, degradasi moral, dan melemahnya otoritas keagamaan di era digital menjadikan penguatan pendidikan karakter Islam semakin penting. Ceramah keagamaan melalui media digital menjadi salah satu sarana strategis untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konstruksi nilai tanggung jawab (mas’uliyyah) dalam ceramah Gus Baha di YouTube serta relevansinya terhadap pendidikan karakter Islam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi terhadap dua video YouTube, yaitu “Tanggung Jawab Kenikmatan Dunia” di kanal Bahira Daily (diakses 5 Juni 2025) dan “Gus Baha Terbaru: Latihlah Jiwamu untuk Menanamkan Rasa Tanggung Jawab” di kanal Pmb Official (diakses 7 Juni 2025). Analisis dilakukan melalui identifikasi, pengodean, kategorisasi, dan interpretasi isi ceramah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gus Baha merekonstruksi nilai tanggung jawab dalam tiga ranah, yaitu pertanggungjawaban spiritual kepada Allah, tanggung jawab intelektual dalam menjaga sanad keilmuan, dan tanggung jawab domestik dalam pendidikan keluarga. Temuan ini memperkaya kajian pendidikan karakter Islam berbasis dakwah digital serta menjadi rujukan praktis bagi pendidik dan dai dalam menginternalisasikan nilai tanggung jawab di masyarakat kontemporer.
