IMPLEMENTASI E-PORTOFOLIO DIGITAL SEBAGAI INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN AUTENTIK DI PERGURUAN TINGGI: SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

This study discusses the implementation of digital e-portfolios as an authentic assessment instrument in higher education, highlighting the transformation from conventional assessment toward a more comprehensive and continuous evaluation approach. The focus of the research is to identify the most effective digital e-portfolio models for documenting and reflecting students’ competencies, as well as their impact on learning outcomes and professional skill development. The method used is a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis of 65 articles published between 2020 and 2025, employing a qualitative approach and thematic mapping software. The findings indicate that digital e-portfolios play a crucial role in promoting reflective learning, enhancing metacognitive abilities, and strengthening students’ professional identity. In addition, several technical and pedagogical challenges were identified that need to be addressed to enable more effective adoption of e-portfolios. Overall, the study concludes that digital e-portfolios are not merely documentation tools but function as learning ecosystems that support authentic assessment and continuous competency development in higher education. The study also provides recommendations for technology development and policy initiatives to support the integration of e-portfolios into competency-based learning systems.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini membahas implementasi e-portofolio digital sebagai instrumen penilaian autentik di perguruan tinggi yang mengalami transformasi dari penilaian konvensional menuju penilaian yang lebih komprehensif dan berkelanjutan. Fokus penelitian adalah identifikasi model e-portofolio digital yang paling efektif dalam mendokumentasikan dan merefleksikan kompetensi mahasiswa serta dampaknya terhadap hasil belajar dan pengembangan keterampilan profesional. Metode yang digunakan berupa systematic literature review dan analisis bibliometrik terhadap 65 artikel yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2020 hingga 2025, dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan penggunaan software pemetaan tema. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-portofolio digital berperan penting dalam mendorong pembelajaran reflektif, meningkatkan kemampuan metakognitif, serta memperkuat identitas profesional mahasiswa. Selain itu, ditemukan pula berbagai tantangan teknis dan pedagogis yang perlu diatasi untuk memperluas adopsi e-portofolio secara efektif. Hasil utama penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, e-portofolio digital bukan hanya alat dokumentasi, tetapi menjadi ekosistem pembelajaran yang mendukung penilaian autentik dan pengembangan kompetensi berkelanjutan di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi pengembangan teknologi dan kebijakan yang mendukung integrasi e-portofolio dalam sistem pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi.
