Abstract

This study aims to examine the dynamics of Digital Curriculum development in the digital era and examine the gap between the concept and practice of implementing the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM). In addition, this study seeks to explore the philosophical hopes contained in the concept of the Digital Curriculum and MBKM with the reality and gaps in their implementation in the field to obtain a holistic picture. This study uses a library research method with thematic analysis and content analysis. It was found that there is a significant gap in technology access and partial and inconsistent government policies. MBKM has been proven to encourage campus autonomy and collaboration between universities and industry (Triple Helix). However, critically, the implementation of MBKM risks becoming pragmatic/capitalist (particularly the internship program) rather than focusing on humanization values. Operational obstacles include the issue of credit unit (SKS) conversion, the lack of funding support for small private universities (PTS), and the urgent need for freedom from formal learning and adequate infrastructure. Without equitable distribution of infrastructure and ongoing training, the Digital Curriculum risks widening educational inequality. The success of MBKM depends on a serious commitment from all parties, systemic support, and implementation aligned with philosophical values ??(humanism and progressivism). This study provides a holistic critical analysis of education policy in Indonesia and emphasizes the need for an integrated strategy between the government, schools, and the community to create a fair, inclusive, and sustainable digital education ecosystem.

ABSTAK
