ETIKA BERMEDIA SOSIAL DALAM PERSPEKTIF TAFSIR AL-QUR’ANUL MAJID AN-NUR DAN RELEVANSINYA TERHADAP PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

ABSTRACT
The rapid development of social media has transformed patterns of religious and social communication within Muslim society. On the one hand, digital media facilitates the dissemination of information and da’wah; on the other hand, it generates serious ethical challenges such as hoaxes, hate speech, slander, and violations of personal dignity that threaten social harmony. This condition necessitates the formulation of a solid digital ethics framework rooted in Qur’anic values. This study aims to analyze the concept of social media ethics in Tafsir al-Qur’anul Majid an-N?r by Teungku Muhammad Hasbi ash-Shiddieqy and to examine its relevance for strengthening Islamic digital literacy within Islamic Religious Education. The study employs a qualitative approach using library research. The research stages include the selection of Qur’anic verses related to communication ethics, data collection from tafsir texts and scholarly literature, content analysis, and contextual interpretation of the findings in relation to contemporary digital ethical issues. The results indicate that Hasbi ash-Shiddieqy formulates three core principles of Qur’anic ethics: responsibility for every utterance (mas’?liyyah al-qawl), the obligation to verify information (tabayyun), and the preservation of human dignity (?if? al-‘ir?). These principles are highly relevant in addressing digital ethical problems such as misinformation, disinformation, and verbal violence on social media platforms. This study concludes that Tafsir an-N?r can serve as an applicable normative-pedagogical framework to strengthen Islamic digital literacy and to foster the development of students’ digital character that is ethical, critical, and responsible through Islamic Religious Education.
ABSTRAK
Perkembangan pesat media sosial telah mengubah pola komunikasi keagamaan dan sosial masyarakat Muslim. Di satu sisi, media digital memfasilitasi penyebaran informasi dan dakwah, namun di sisi lain juga memunculkan berbagai persoalan etika, seperti hoaks, ujaran kebencian, fitnah, dan pelanggaran kehormatan yang mengancam tatanan sosial. Kondisi ini menuntut perumusan kerangka etika digital yang kokoh dan berakar pada nilai-nilai Qur’ani. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konsep etika bermedia sosial dalam Tafsir al-Qur’anul Majid an-N?r karya Teungku Muhammad Hasbi ash-Shiddieqy serta menjelaskan relevansinya bagi penguatan literasi digital Islami dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Tahapan penelitian meliputi pemilihan ayat-ayat etika komunikasi, pengumpulan data dari teks tafsir dan literatur ilmiah, analisis isi (content analysis), serta penafsiran temuan secara kontekstual dengan problem etika digital kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hasbi ash-Shiddieqy merumuskan tiga prinsip utama etika Qur’ani, yaitu tanggung jawab atas setiap ucapan (mas’?liyyah al-qawl), kewajiban memverifikasi informasi (tabayyun), dan penjagaan kehormatan manusia (?if? al-‘ir?). Ketiga prinsip tersebut memiliki relevansi kuat dalam merespons persoalan etika digital, seperti misinformasi, disinformasi, dan kekerasan verbal di media sosial. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tafsir an-N?r dapat dijadikan kerangka normatif-pedagogis yang aplikatif untuk memperkuat literasi digital Islami dan membentuk karakter digital peserta didik yang berakhlak, kritis, dan bertanggung jawab melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam.
