Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of community empowerment in organizing education at SD Plus and SD Hasbunallah, Murung Pudak District, Tabalong Regency, South Kalimantan. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that community participation in school activities, both financially and materially, greatly influences the development of educational facilities and programs. The community contributes to mutual cooperation activities, procurement of learning tools, and support in religious activities. Although there are challenges such as the burden of financial contributions and lack of involvement in decision-making, the potential for community support remains a valuable asset. This study recommends improving communication and transparency, as well as educational programs to strengthen cooperation between schools and the community.
