Abstract

The Breksi Cliffs, formed from ancient volcanic ash deposits, or tuff, are approximately 30 million years old and represent a geological legacy from the eruption of Mount Sumilir. Most of the local community works as miners. In 2014, Breksi received a decree to stop mining. This unsettled the miners. They could not accept that the rocky area could become a tourist destination. Pros and cons arose from fear of losing their future. This fear fueled their desire to sustainably live within the area. The research focused on the quality of G2R entrepreneurship and operational management. The research methodology used was a qualitative approach using a global mutual cooperation (G2R) approach. Data were obtained through direct observation and in-depth interviews. In-depth interviews included the Head of the Breksi Cliffs Management Team, the wife of a former rock miner, and the local community. Data processing and analysis used the tetrapreneurship model and operational management. Data are presented in the form of digital posters on area transformation, documentation images, graphs, tables, and diagrams. The results indicate that the Breksi Cliffs have achieved 95% success in providing sustainable and environmentally friendly livelihoods for Sambirejo Village residents, including former miners. This original research presents a novelty in the tourism business, where the management of Tebing Breksi implements an operational management system as part of tetrapreneurship.
