Learning motivation is an important factor that influences students’ success in science and social studies (IPAS) learning at the elementary school level. However, students’ learning motivation remains relatively low because classroom instruction is often teacher-centered and lacks engaging learning media. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Ekopira media on elementary school students’ motivation in IPAS learning. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 32 fifth-grade students, including 16 students in the experimental group and 16 students in the control group. Data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire based on the ARCS model, covering Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and simple regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 22. The findings revealed that the average learning motivation score of students in the experimental group was 81.38, categorized as very high, while the control group obtained an average score of 61.19. The simple regression analysis indicated a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.682. These findings demonstrate that the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Ekopira media significantly affects students’ learning motivation, contributing 68.2% to the improvement of learning motivation. Therefore, the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Ekopira media can be used as an effective alternative learning strategy to enhance students’ motivation in IPAS learning at the elementary school level.
