Abstract

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital administration and teacher competence on teachers’ work efficiency at MTsN 1 Kediri City. The study employed a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires. The research sample consisted of all teachers at MTsN 1 Kediri City, selected using a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire designed to measure the variables of digital administration, teacher competence, and teachers’ work efficiency. The results indicate that digital administration and teacher competence have a positive and significant effect on teachers’ work efficiency, both partially and simultaneously. Digital administration contributes to improving work efficiency through easier data management, faster administrative processes, and reduced administrative workload. Meanwhile, teacher competence contributes to greater effectiveness in carrying out tasks, improved adaptability to technology, and enhanced overall performance. Simultaneously, both variables account for 50.4% of the variance in teachers’ work efficiency, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings suggest that optimizing digital administration, supported by the enhancement of teacher competence, can serve as an important strategy for improving teachers’ work efficiency in madrasah settings. Therefore, strengthening digital-based administrative systems and promoting teacher competency development should be prioritized to improve the quality of educational management.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh administrasi digital dan kompetensi guru terhadap efisiensi kerja guru di MTsN 1 Kota Kediri. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas seluruh guru MTsN 1 Kota Kediri yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket yang mengukur variabel administrasi digital, kompetensi guru, dan efisiensi kerja guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa administrasi digital dan kompetensi guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efisiensi kerja guru, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Administrasi digital memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan efisiensi kerja guru melalui kemudahan pengelolaan data, percepatan proses administrasi, dan pengurangan beban kerja administratif. Sementara itu, kompetensi guru berkontribusi pada peningkatan efektivitas pelaksanaan tugas, kemampuan adaptasi terhadap teknologi, serta kualitas kinerja secara keseluruhan. Secara bersama-sama, kedua variabel memberikan kontribusi sebesar 50,4% terhadap efisiensi kerja guru, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi administrasi digital yang didukung oleh peningkatan kompetensi guru dapat menjadi strategi penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi kerja guru di lingkungan madrasah. Oleh karena itu, penguatan sistem administrasi berbasis digital serta pengembangan kompetensi guru perlu menjadi perhatian dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan pendidikan.
