Abstract

Bumi Lebu Tourism Village, located in Pesisir Barat Regency, Lampung Province, holds a dual tourism attraction asset comprising rich local culture and river-based natural tourism potential. Cultural assets include the rempong damar tradition, tapis embroidery art, traditional dance performances, and regional culinary heritage. The shallow and gently flowing river traversing the village opens opportunities for river tubing development as an alternative to the dominance of beach tourism in Pesisir Barat. This study aims to develop an integrated model for Bumi Lebu Tourism Village that holistically combines cultural and natural attractions. A descriptive qualitative method was applied through Community-Based Tourism (CBT), cultural mapping, and destination readiness approaches. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Analysis encompassed tourism potential mapping and tourism product integration. Findings reveal significant yet unorganized potential lacking an integrated tourism product system. The resulting development model links five key components: potential mapping, integrated tourism product development, CBT-based local actor empowerment, segmented marketing strategy, and tourism village institutional strengthening. This model serves as a reference for managers, local government, and stakeholders in developing authentic, competitive, and sustainable community-based tourism in Pesisir Barat Regency.
