PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN DIGITAL BERBASIS VIDEO ANIMASI STOPMOTION PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS KELAS IV SD/MI

The main problem in science and science learning for class IV SD/MI is the limited use of conventional learning media and the lack of ability to visualize abstract material, resulting in low student involvement and understanding. This research aims to develop digital learning media based on stopmotion animation videos and test the level of feasibility and user response to the media developed. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The research subjects involved media experts, material experts, educators, and class IV SD/MI students. Data was collected through validation questionnaires and response questionnaires, then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The research results showed that the media developed obtained a feasibility level of 77% from media experts and 94% from material experts, and received a very positive response from educators (97%) and students (88–90%). Thus, digital learning media based on stopmotion animation videos is declared very suitable for use. The implications of this research show that stopmotion media can be an innovative alternative to improve the quality of contextual and interesting science and science learning in elementary schools.
ABSTRAK
Permasalahan utama dalam pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV SD/MI adalah keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional dan kurang mampu memvisualisasikan materi yang abstrak, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya keterlibatan dan pemahaman peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berbasis video animasi stopmotion serta menguji tingkat kelayakan dan respon pengguna terhadap media yang dikembangkan. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian melibatkan ahli media, ahli materi, pendidik, dan peserta didik kelas IV SD/MI. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket validasi dan angket respon, kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan memperoleh tingkat kelayakan sebesar 77% dari ahli media dan 94% dari ahli materi, serta mendapat respon sangat positif dari pendidik (97%) dan peserta didik (88–90%). Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran digital berbasis video animasi stopmotion dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media stopmotion dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPAS yang kontekstual dan menarik di sekolah dasar.
