Abstract

ABSTRACT

In the current era of globalization and the industrial revolution 4.0, the world of work is undergoing a very rapid and complex transformation. Increasingly tight business competition, high productivity demands, and dynamic technological developments put significant pressure on employees in various industrial sectors. These conditions often give rise to various forms of psychological pressure that can disrupt the mental and emotional balance of individuals. One of the most frequent impacts of this pressure is the increasing level of work stress experienced by employees.This study aims to examine the effectiveness of mindfulness practice in reducing stress levels and enhancing psychological well-being among employees in modern work environments through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review analyzes 25 recent research articles that meet inclusion and exclusion criteria related to workplace mindfulness interventions. The findings indicate that mindfulness significantly reduces work-related stress and improves employees’ psychological well-being, including increased self-awareness, emotional regulation, job satisfaction, and work engagement. The effectiveness of interventions is influenced by training duration, implementation methods, and organizational support. This study recommends that organizations integrate mindfulness practices into mental health programs and human resource development to foster healthier and more productive work environments.

Di era globalisasi dan revolusi industri 4.0 saat ini, dunia kerja mengalami transformasi yang sangat cepat dan kompleks. Persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat, tuntutan produktivitas yang tinggi, serta perkembangan teknologi yang dinamis memberikan tekanan yang signifikan terhadap karyawan di berbagai sektor industri. Kondisi tersebut tidak jarang memunculkan berbagai bentuk tekanan psikologis yang dapat mengganggu keseimbangan mental dan emosional individu. Salah satu dampak yang paling sering muncul dari tekanan tersebut adalah meningkatnya tingkat stres kerja yang dialami oleh karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas praktik mindfulness dalam menurunkan tingkat stres dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis pada karyawan di lingkungan kerja modern melalui metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Kajian ini menganalisis 25 artikel penelitian terkini yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi terkait intervensi mindfulness di tempat kerja. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa mindfulness secara signifikan mampu mengurangi stres kerja dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis karyawan, seperti peningkatan kesadaran diri, regulasi emosi, serta kepuasan dan keterlibatan kerja. Efektivitas intervensi dipengaruhi oleh durasi pelatihan, metode pelaksanaan, serta dukungan organisasi. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi agar organisasi mengintegrasikan praktik mindfulness dalam program kesehatan mental dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih sehat dan produktif.
