Abstract

Employee class programs are increasingly in demand, especially among individuals who are already employed. However, juggling dual roles as both worker and student presents various challenges, such as managing work and academic tasks, dividing attention and energy, and adapting to different environments. If not managed properly, these challenges may lead to several issues, particularly in maintaining work-life balance, academic performance, and personal well-being, which could negatively affect self-acceptance. This study aims to examine the effect of self-acceptance on work-life balance among students who work while pursuing their studies. This research employs a quantitative method. The sampling technique used was random sampling, with a total of 100 participants. A simple linear regression analysis was conducted. The results show a significant positive effect of self-acceptance on work-life balance, with an R value of 0.825 and R² of 0.681 (p < 0.001). This indicates that the higher an individual’s self-acceptance, the better their ability to balance work and personal life. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the results be used as a foundation in designing programs or policies that support the psychological well-being of students who work while attending college.
