ANALISIS PERAN KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN KINERJA GURU DI SMK NEGERI 2 KUALUH SELATAN TANJUNG PASIR LABUHANBATU UTARA SUMATERA UTARA

This research aims to determine and analyze the leadership role of school principals in motivating, guiding and monitoring teachers in increasing the work participation of teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan Labuhan Batu Utara. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was obtained using interview techniques, observation and document analysis. Data analysis uses Miles and Huberman theory through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the research show that the leadership role of the school principal in motivating, guiding and monitoring teachers can improve the work ethic, quality and professionalism of teachers in the teaching and learning process of teachers in the classroom so that it can increase teacher work participation at SMK Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan. From the results of this research, it can be concluded, 1. Role The principal's leadership in motivating teachers is carried out by building good communication between fellow teachers, placing teachers according to their competencies. 2. Guiding teachers is carried out by routinely cultivating the collective awareness of each teacher so that they can create a safe and orderly school environment by complying with school rules; try to be fair, and always protect all teachers. 3. Meanwhile, teacher monitoring is carried out by looking at the work ethic, competence and professionalism of teachers in the teaching and learning process.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam memotivasi, membimbing dan memonitoring guru gurudalam peningkatan partisipasi kerja guru SMK Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan Labuhan batu Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan study kasus. Data diperoleh dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam memotivasi, membimbing dan memonitoring guru dapat meningkatkan etos kerja, kualitas dan profesionalisme guru dalam proses belajar mengajar guru dikelas sehingga dapat meningkatakan partisipasi kerjagurudi SMK Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan, 1. Peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam memotivasi guru dilakukan dengan cara membangun komunikasi yang baik antara sesama guru, menempatkan guru sesuai kompetensinya. 2. Dalam membimbing guru dilakukan dengan cara rutin melalukan pembinaan kesadaran kolektif dari setiap guru agar dapat mewujudkan lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan tertib dengan mematuhi tata tertib sekolah; berusaha untuk bisa bersikap adil, dan selalu mengayomi seluruh guru. 3. Sedangkan dalam memonitoring guru dilakukan dengan melihat etos kerja, kemapuan kompetensi dan keprofesionalan guru dalam proses belajar mengajar.
