Abstract

Spiritual education of students is aspect important in formation characters that are often less than optimally developed at school . Study This aim For explore the role of the teacher in increase students' spiritual competence through Islamic Religious Education with approach phenomenology at Bustanul High School Ulum Jayasakti , Central Lampung. Study This use method qualitative with approach phenomenological For understand teachers' experiences and perceptions as well student related with enhancement spiritual competence . Data is collected through interview depth , observation , and documentation . Research result show that the teacher has role crucial in facilitate development students' spiritual competence through various method teaching , like integration deep spiritual values every eye lesson , habituation practices of worship, and giving a good example . Additionally , support from environment schools and families are also found as factor important in this process . Implications from study This show that enhancement students' spiritual competence can achieved in a way effective through collaboration between teachers, schools and families as well as with application of integrative and contextual teaching strategies . Study This give contribution for development of a holistic and comprehensive model of religious education For form a generation of character and morals glorious.

ABSTRAK
Pendidikan spiritual siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam pembentukan karakter yang sering kali kurang optimal dikembangkan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi spiritual siswa melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan pendekatan fenomenologis di SMA Bustanul Ulum Jayasakti, Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis untuk memahami pengalaman dan persepsi guru serta siswa terkait dengan peningkatan kompetensi spiritual. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran krusial dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan kompetensi spiritual siswa melalui berbagai metode pengajaran, seperti pengintegrasian nilai-nilai spiritual dalam setiap mata pelajaran, pembiasaan praktik ibadah, dan pemberian teladan yang baik. Selain itu, dukungan dari lingkungan sekolah dan keluarga juga ditemukan sebagai faktor penting dalam proses ini. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi spiritual siswa dapat dicapai secara efektif melalui kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, dan keluarga serta dengan penerapan strategi pengajaran yang integratif dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan model pendidikan agama yang holistik dan komprehensif untuk membentuk generasi yang berkarakter dan berakhlak mulia.
