Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurobiological developmental disorder that frequently occurs in children and can affect cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functions. The treatment of ADHD generally requires consistent interventions involving both medical and non-medical therapies. This study aims to evaluate the level of therapy adherence in children with ADHD undergoing therapy at the Rehabilitation Unit of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Hospital, Denpasar. The method used is descriptive observational, with data collected through interviews with parents, observation of adherence to therapy schedules, and medical records related to patient progress.
ABSTRAK
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) merupakan gangguan perkembangan neurobiologis yang sering terjadi pada anak-anak dan dapat memengaruhi fungsi kognitif, emosional, dan perilaku. Penanganan ADHD umumnya memerlukan intervensi yang melibatkan terapi medis dan non-medis secara konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepatuhan terapi pada anak dengan ADHD yang menjalani terapi di Instalasi Rehabilitasi Medik Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Denpasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasional deskriptif dan dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan orang tua, observasi kepatuhan terhadap jadwal terapi, serta catatan medis terkait kemajuan pasien.
