Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project-Based Learning learning model on "Environmental Problems Threaten Life" on the motivation and learning outcomes of grade V students of SDN I Moyoketen. The background of this study is based on the low motivation and learning outcomes of students caused by the use of conventional learning methods. This study uses a quantitative method with a Post-test Only Control Group Design. The sample consists of two classes, namely the experimental class using the Project-Based Learning learning model, and the control class using the conventional learning model. Data were collected through motivation questionnaires and learning outcome tests. The data analysis techniques used were multivariate and univariate tests. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence of the Project-Based Learning learning model on the motivation and learning outcomes of students. Thus, the Project-Based Learning learning model can be an effective and interesting learning alternative for elementary school students, especially in improving motivation and learning outcomes in learning.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning pada "Permasalahan Lingkungan Mengancam Kehidupan"terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V SDN I Moyoketen. Penelitian ini dilandasi oleh rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Post-test Only Control Group Design. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning, dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket motivasi dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji multivariat dan univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning pada motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik bagi peserta didik sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran.
