Abstract

This research aims to improve the response and learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and character for class I students at SDN 1 Dausa by implementing a contextual teaching and learning model assisted by audio visuals. The form of this research is classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle includes stages: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection. In collecting data the author used observation techniques, formative tests, field notes and documentation. Meanwhile, the analysis uses descriptive techniques. The results of the research showed that based on the results of observations of teacher and student activities as well as test results in the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II there was an increase, where data was obtained from student learning outcomes before the action was carried out, namely at the pre-cycle stage it showed that there were 3 students who had completed their studies. and 8 students who did not complete their studies. In cycle I, it showed that there were 7 students who had completed and 7 students who had not completed. Meanwhile, the learning results in cycle II showed that there were 12 students who had completed and 2 students who had not yet completed with an average score of 85,71. This shows that the application of the contextual teaching and learning model in Hindu religious education and morals in the material created by Sang Hyang Widhi was able to improve Student responses and learning outcomes.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan respon dan hasil belajar pendidikan agama hindu dan budi pekerti siswa kelas I SDN 1 Dausa dengan penerapan model contextual teaching and learning berbantuan audio visual. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Setiap siklus mencakup tahapan: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan, (4) refleksi. Dalam pengumpulan data penulis menggunakan tekhik observasi, tes formatif, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisanya menggunakan tekhnik diskriftif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil observasi terhadap aktivitas guru dan siswa serta hasil tes pada pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus II terjadi peningkatan, dimana diperoleh data dari hasil belajar siswa sebelum dilaksanakannya tindakan yaitu pada tahap pra siklus menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 siswa yang tuntas belajar dan 8 siswa yang tidak tuntas belajar. Pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 7 siswa yang tuntas dan 7 siswa yang belum tuntas. Sedangkan hasil belajar pada siklus II menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 12 siswa yang tuntas dan 2 siswa yang belum tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata 85,71. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Contextual teaching and learning pada Pendidikan Agama Hindu dan Budhi pekerti materi Ciptaan Sang Hyang Widhi mampu meningkatkan Respon dan hasil belajar siswa.
