This study aims to examine the effectiveness of utilizing visualization to improve the understanding of the concepts of fraction multiplication and division among sixth-grade students at a private school in Tangerang. The visualization used in this study enables students to directly observe the process of fraction multiplication and division, which is often difficult to understand due to its abstract nature. With the help of visualization, students can better grasp the steps and concepts behind fraction multiplication and division in a more concrete and intuitive way. This research employs an experimental method with a one-sample t-test to compare students' learning outcomes after instruction using visualization to the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) set at 70. The results show a significant improvement in the understanding of the concepts of fraction multiplication and division, exceeding the KKM standard. These findings suggest that visualization is effective in helping students overcome difficulties in understanding the concepts of fraction multiplication and division, making it a valuable alternative medium for mathematics instruction in elementary schools.
